WCVB brings on Jennifer Peñate as weekend night anchor

WCVB has added a brand new face to its newscast lineup, bringing Jennifer Peñate on board as a reporter and weekend night anchor. 

Becoming a member of Channel 5 from WFLA/WTTA in Tampa Bay, Peñate will begin on Wednesday, WCVB stated in a press launch. The award-winning journalist will co-anchor weekend night newscasts with Shaun Chaiyabhat and report in the course of the week.
