A 15-year-old male is now dealing with fees of property harm to intimidate, malicious destruction of a motorcar, and two counts of vandalism.
Taunton police have charged a 15-year-old Taunton male for allegedly spray-painting homophobic and racist graffiti at a house and a synagogue earlier this month.
On June 16, police responded to a house on Everett Road and found homophobic and racist graffiti spray-painted on a recycling bin and a car.
Quickly after, police have been referred to as to Congregation Agudath Achim of Larger Taunton on Winthrop Road. There, they discovered a swastika and “different hateful references” spray-painted on the facet of the synagogue.
The vandalisms regarded related, police stated.
Police charged the teenager with property harm to intimidate, malicious destruction of a motorcar, and two counts of vandalism, they stated in a press launch Thursday. He has been summonsed to look in Taunton Juvenile Court docket at a later date.
