The incident came about on Mercier Avenue close to the Ashmont Purple Line station.
Boston police have taken a suspect reported to be armed with a gun and on the free in Dorchester into custody after a search of the world that spanned a number of hours, a spokesperson for the division mentioned Monday night.
Round 10:50 a.m., police acquired a name saying that “a person with a gun was inside a house” on Mercier Avenue close to the Ashmont Purple Line station, The Boston Globe reported. At first they thought it was a hostage state of affairs, however by 1:30 p.m., police decided that the suspect wasn’t on the property.
WHDH reported that the person had a rifle, and that neighbors noticed him behaving surprisingly on the sidewalk earlier than police arrived. One reportedly mentioned he “bathed” in a small container in a driveway.
Police searched the world for hours. The person later returned to Mercier Avenue the place he was arrested, WHDH reported.
It’s unclear whether or not police will press prices in opposition to the person.
It is a creating story.
