A Quincy man was ordered held with out bail Monday as he faces expenses for allegedly assaulting a girl and making an attempt to take away her garments throughout an assault within the South Finish Saturday evening. 

Amos Sykes, 35, appeared in Boston Municipal Court docket and was charged with assault with intent to rape, strangulation or suffocation with severe bodily harm, and assault and battery with severe bodily harm, amongst different offenses, based on The Boston Globe.
