PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — A person died early Saturday after eyewitnesses say he was assaulted by a gaggle of males after which fell from a parking storage onto a sidewalk in Portsmouth, police stated.
The assault occurred between a nightclub and the parking storage shortly earlier than 1 a.m., police stated. The confrontation began on the Portsmouth Fuel Gentle Co. nightclub with the males yelling on the different man and a gaggle accompanying him, police stated.
The sufferer was in a position to get away after being assaulted and went into the parking storage. At the very least one member of the opposite group adopted him in. Eyewitnesses say he then tried to climb onto the rail of the parking storage and fell to the sidewalk under.
He was taken to the hospital, the place he died of his accidents, police stated.
Portsmouth police are asking anybody who might have witnessed the assault or fall or have video of the areas the place the incident occurred to contact them.
