Authorities are investigating Mark Henry’s demise and what may have brought about the boat to sink.
NORTH ANSON, Maine (AP) — A person from Florida died after an airboat he was driving sunk on the Kennebec River in Maine, authorities stated.
Mark Henry, 72, of Fort Pierce, Florida, was with North Anson resident Matthew Sleeper, 63, on Wednesday evening when the airboat nosedived into the water, throwing the 2 males into the river.
They began swimming because the boat sank deeper into the water and when Sleeper obtained to shore, he didn’t see Henry, the warden service stated.
The physique was later retrieved from the water by an area hearth division.

Sleeper had been engaged on the boat for Henry, who had requested Sleeper to return on a trip, the warden service stated.
