Patriots make a sequence of transactions, including RB and OL

The Patriots signed two offensive gamers and launched two defensive gamers Saturday.

They added operating again C.J. Marable and offensive lineman Micah Vanterpool and parted methods with linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi and security Jourdan Heilig.

Marable, 26, initially signed with the Chicago Bears as a rookie free agent out of Coastal Carolina in 2021. The 5-foot-10, 200-pounder spent the final two seasons enjoying in the US Soccer League for the Birmingham Stallions and helped lead the group to back-to-back championships.

Final season, he totaled 1,079 all-purpose yards for the Stallions – 525 dashing yards, 235 receiving yards, and 319 return yards. He added three dashing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns.

Vanterpool (6-foot-6, 315 kilos), 24, performed guard and sort out throughout his school profession at Hawaii from 2017-22. He began all 13 video games in 2022 at proper guard and was named All-Mountain West second group. Vanterpool signed with the New Jersey Generals of the USFL late within the spring season and was inactive for the ultimate two video games.
