‘Not a super uninvited visitor’: Police assist take away giant snake from Cape Cod residence

A Cape Cod resident made an unsettling discovery of their residence on Friday — a “very giant” snake of their closet.

Orleans police responded to the residence to assist take away the reptile, which the division mentioned probably made its manner into the home by the entrance door, which was left open for the individual’s canine.

“Not one thing you see daily in Orleans,” police wrote on Fb. 

The snake was probably a Black Racer, in accordance with officers.

“They’re non-venomous, however positively not a super uninvited visitor,” the division wrote.

The snake was contained in a cooler and launched within the woods, in accordance with police. 

One Fb consumer weighed in on the incident, urging police to think about an alternate location for the snake’s new residence: “Please launch on the opposite aspect of the bridge!”
