Dr. Blake Cady died on July 15, 2023.
Cady, Blake, MD Died, on July 15, 2023. He was the second son of Capt. John Parmalee Cady USN and Elizabeth Blake Cady and was educated at Moses Brown College in Windfall, RI, Amherst School and Cornell College Medical School.
He served within the Navy earlier than ending a surgical coaching on the New England Deaconess Hospital Harvard Surgical Service and a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Most cancers Middle. He joined the surgical workers of the Lahey Clinic Basis and Harvard Medical College in 1967. In 1982, he turned Chief of Surgical Oncology and full-time member of the Harvard surgical school at New England Deaconess Hospital. He was appointed Professor of Surgical procedure, Harvard Medical College in 1991. At retirement, he joined the surgical school of Brown College Medical College, as Professor of Surgical procedure.
He was the writer of over 300 publications, e-book chapters and different peer reviewed articles and founding editor of the Surgical Oncology Clinics of North America. He has been honored by election as president of each nationwide and important regional organizations, together with the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Most cancers Society, the Boston Surgical Society, the New England Surgical Society, the New England Most cancers Society (NECS), the American Affiliation of Endocrine Surgical procedure and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
