A 53-year-old carjacking suspect was arrested Monday after he misplaced management of his automobile whereas fleeing from the police and crashed into the Manchester Police Division, police mentioned. 

Barton Tibando of Nashua was fleeing from police on Monday afternoon in a van that had been concerned in an armed carjacking in Nashua earlier that day, police mentioned. The van was touring at a excessive velocity and operating crimson lights when it hit a automobile going north on Maple Avenue, police mentioned.

The van went uncontrolled, hitting and uprooting 4 granite obstacles in entrance of the Manchester Police Division.

Tibando ran from the crashed automobile into the police division’s car parking zone. When confronted by officers, he refused to conform, police mentioned. Tibando was tased and brought into custody. 

Tibando was arrested on eight expenses out of Manchester, together with reckless conduct with a lethal weapon, receiving stolen property, possession of a managed drug, conduct after an accident, driving after revocation/suspension, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and prison mischief.

Nashua police have charged Tibando with armed theft. He can be arraigned on the South Hillsborough County Superior Court docket on Tuesday.
