An individual driving a moped died Thursday evening after being concerned in a crash on Route 24 in Brockton, in keeping with the Massachusetts State Police.
At about 11:39 p.m., the moped and a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta collided because the moped moved from the correct lane into the center lane. Each have been touring northbound on Route 24.
The individual driving the moped was ejected from it. Three autos that had been touring behind the moped struck it because it lay within the highway. The operator had already been ejected, and was not hit by these different autos, police mentioned.
Officers didn’t establish the moped operator, besides to say that he was male. He was dropped at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
The scene was cleared at 12:48 a.m., police mentioned.
An investigation is ongoing.
