MBTA police arrest man they are saying threw BlueBike down station steps as folks cheered

The 19-year previous was charged with trespassing and possession of a harmful weapon (a swap blade), in accordance with transit police.

After being initially kicked out of an MBTA station for allegedly throwing a motorbike on Tuesday night time, a 19-year-old returned and was arrested on trespassing and weapon possession expenses.

Round 8 p.m., transit cops mentioned they noticed somebody toss a BlueBikes bike down the Summer time Road entrance stairs to the Downtown Crossing station as others cheered, the company famous in a tweet.

Officers eliminated the person they mentioned threw the bike and informed him that he can be charged with trespassing if he returned.

Along with trespassing, he was charged with possession of a harmful weapon (a swap blade), the company mentioned.

5/23 8PM #MBTA DTC TPD offs on patrol noticed a blue bike received tossed down the Summer time St entrance stairs to cheers of others. Offs ejected a 19y/o male accountable&trespassed him. He returned & was positioned into custody. He was additional charged w/poss of Dang. Weapon Swap Blade.
