Massachusetts Environmental Law enforcement officials had a pleasant encounter with some “locals” whereas patrolling the mouth of Massachusetts Bay Monday, receiving a “heat welcome” from a number of the whales they have been there to guard.

The officers have been guaranteeing boater compliance with whale laws in Stellwagen Financial institution Nationwide Marine Sanctuary once they noticed humpback whales breaching within the water close to their boat, in response to an environmental police Fb put up. 

The company shared images and video of the encounters on social media, documenting the majestic second.

Environmental police spokesperson Danielle Burney advised The Boston Globe that the whales have been bubble feeding, a searching technique also called bubble-net feeding.
