A former Middleborough FedEx driver pleaded responsible Friday to stealing and promoting three weapons he was purported to ship as a part of his job.

Frank O’Toole, 40, beforehand labored as a driver out of a FedEx facility in Middleborough, the Massachusetts U.S. Legal professional’s workplace mentioned in a press launch.

Between October 2021 and June 2022, O’Toole stole three packages he was purported to ship, every of which contained weapons meant to go to a federal firearms licensee, the discharge mentioned. In August 2022, O’Toole bought the weapons to an undercover federal agent.

O’Toole was charged through felony grievance in August 2022, after which indicted by a federal grand jury in September 2022, the discharge mentioned. On Friday, he pleaded responsible to 2 counts of possession or sale of a stolen firearm.

O’Toole is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 26. The cost of possession of a stolen firearm gives for a sentence of as much as a decade in jail, three years of supervised launch, and a nice of as much as $250,000.
