McCourty retired in 2023 after 13 seasons with the Patriots.
Former Patriots defensive again Devin McCourty can be becoming a member of the “Soccer Night time in America” broadcast staff as an analyst this fall, in line with an NBC Sports activities announcement on Tuesday.
McCourty, 35, retired from his taking part in profession in March, having spent all 13 seasons within the NFL with the Patriots. Throughout that point, he helped New England win three Tremendous Bowls, and earned All Professional honors on three events.
He’ll comply with the trail that his twin brother Jason set when he went into media in 2022 (becoming a member of NFL Community’s “Good Morning Soccer” as a co-host).
This gained’t be Devin’s first foray into media. Together with Jason, the 2 brothers hosted a podcast, “Double Protection,” that ran from 2018-2020 (throughout the time period when each performed for the Patriots).
Based on NBC, “Soccer Night time in America” — which runs on Sunday nights throughout the NFL season — has been probably the most watched weekly sports activities studio for 17 consecutive years. This system averaged 7.24 million viewers throughout its pregame run previous to Sunday Night time Soccer.
