BOSTON (AP) — The New York Yankees and Boston Crimson Sox had a recreation postponed by rain for the second time in three days on Wednesday night time.

New York and Boston performed a doubleheader on Tuesday after Monday’s opener of the four-game collection was postponed.

They may now play one other twinbill on Thursday, with the primary recreation scheduled for 1:35 p.m. The nightcap will stay at its recurrently scheduled time of seven:15 p.m.

The Yankees (73-72) swept Tuesday’s doubleheader to drag even with the Crimson Sox for final place within the AL East.

After an early-afternoon downpour on Wednesday, the tarp was taken off the sphere, solely to be returned earlier than the scheduled 7:10 p.m. begin as a gradual rain fell. The sport was referred to as off at 8:59 p.m.
