As Celtics followers had been reveling in a 22-point lead in Recreation 5 Thursday night time with 10 minutes to go, they bought one other enjoyable shock. The TNT cameras panned courtside to Christopher Mintz-Plasse, aka “Superbad”‘s Fogell/McLovin, exchanging a handshake with none apart from Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe.

Mintz-Plasse was sitting together with his fiancée Britt Bowman, and Zappe together with his fiancée Hannah Lewis (Zappe introduced his engagement to Lewis on Instagram earlier this week).
Zappe shared a photograph of the movie star duo on his Instagram story, with Mintz-Plasse then sharing it as nicely.
For these within the know, regardless of his L.A. roots, Mintz-Plasse is definitely a lifelong Boston sports activities fan, as his dad was born in Worcester and raised in Webster. He described his allegiances to Celtics workforce reporter Amanda Plugard when he was on the town for Recreation 1 of the Celtics-Hawks sequence:
