Boston-based DraftKings apologizes for selling 9/11 parlay

DraftKings featured a “always remember” parlay with bets on the Mets, Yankees, and Jets.

DraftKings, the Boston-based sports activities betting big, is beneath fireplace for selling a “always remember” parlay in honor of 9/11. 

A number of social media customers posted screenshots of the featured parlay, which inspired customers to wager on the Mets, the Yankees, and the Jets. 

The corporate confronted rapid backlash as photos of the featured parlay made their rounds on-line. 

DraftKings eliminated the parlay after just a few hours and issued an apology. 

“We sincerely apologize for the featured parlay that was shared briefly in commemoration of 9/11. We respect the importance of at the present time for our nation and particularly for the households of those that have been instantly affected,” the corporate stated in an announcement.
