Blame the prosciutto: Free ham induced accident at Pru, lawsuit claims

A New Hampshire couple is suing Boston’s Eataly for $50,000 after a girl allegedly slipped and fell on a bit of prosciutto, fracturing her left ankle, the lawsuit states. 

Alice and Ronald Cohen of Gilford had been buying at Eataly Boston on Oct. 7, 2022, when the incident occurred, based on the lawsuit. Alice was making her technique to an space with free meals samples when she allegedly slipped on a bit of prosciutto, a kind of thinly-sliced ham. 

The Cohens filed the go well with in Suffolk Superior Court docket and are suing Eataly for negligence and lack of consortium, in addition to prices for therapy and care, based on courtroom paperwork. They’re searching for $50,000 in damages.
