5 folks have been taken to the hospital following the crash of two AMTRAK vehicles in a Boston rail yard Friday.
An AMTRAK truck was going east on a part of the tracks on the Readville commuter rail station round 4:30 a.m. when it collided with one other truck, in response to Boston 25 Information.
The incident injured members of an AMTRAK infrastructure upkeep work group.
“The collision precipitated substantial harm to the automobiles concerned,” Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan mentioned in an announcement, in response to Boston 25 Information.
All of these injured have been taken to native hospitals with non-life-threatening accidents.
The reason for this incident remains to be unknown however is underneath investigation by the Federal Railroad Administration and the transit police.
