Human waste spill results in a number of spinouts, crashes on I-95

Police documented six separate collisions attributable to the spill close to Bridgeport, Conn. One harm was reported.

A tractor-trailer driver is dealing with prices after his load of human waste spilled out onto I-95 close to Bridgeport, Connecticut on Monday evening, inflicting a number of crashes and spinouts when drivers misplaced management of their automobiles on the slippery floor.

The truck driver, Shaky Joseph of Waterbury, Connecticut, was discovered by police to have been conscious of the leak. He was arrested and charged with driving with an unsecured load, reckless driving, and 12 counts of first-degree reckless endangerment. 

Joseph, 34, was later launched on a $25,000 bond. He’s scheduled to seem in Bridgeport Superior Court docket in August.

State police documented six separate collisions on I-95 northbound between exits 27 and 30 attributable to the spill. Vehicles rear-ended one another, spun out and veered throughout the four-lane freeway into the concrete median barrier.

Two state police automobiles that responded to the scene had been broken when a second tractor-trailer skidded throughout the spill and crashed into them.

A motorcyclist who drove onto the spill, misplaced management, and fell into the highway was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with “suspected minor accidents,” police wrote of their report. No different accidents had been reported. Not one of the drivers apart from Joseph had been discovered accountable for the crashes.

The interstate was closed for about three hours.
