18-year-old Somerville man charged for alleged assault in Medford

Medford police arrested an 18-year-old Somerville man Tuesday morning for allegedly assaulting a lady on July 2.

Round 10:45 p.m. that evening, Nature Moncoeur allegedly assaulted a lady on Royall Road, police stated in a press launch. Police stated beforehand that the suspect, who has now been recognized as Moncouer, allegedly adopted the lady earlier than grabbing her and hitting her repeatedly.

The girl struggled with the suspect briefly whereas she screamed loudly, which prompted the suspect to flee down Royall Road, police stated beforehand. She suffered minor accidents on account of the assault.

Medford police arrested Moncoeur at his residence on Powder Home Boulevard. They charged him with assault and battery and tried kidnapping.
