A 33-year-old man was arrested Monday morning for allegedly stealing a truck with an toddler inside in Dorchester, based on the Boston Police Division.

Cristofanes “Christopher” Mendes of Boston allegedly stole the truck from 430 Geneva Ave. on July 14 after the kid’s dad and mom left the automobile to take care of their two-year-old, based on police. 

Authorities mentioned Mendes drove again moments later and positioned the automotive seat containing the toddler on the sidewalk. Then, Mendes bought again within the truck, allegedly stealing it as soon as once more to flee the scene. 

The dad and mom and toddler have been reunited, based on police. EMS evaluated the toddler upon arriving on the scene. 

An hour later, police mentioned, the stolen truck was discovered at 156 Columbia Rd. 

Authorities mentioned Mendes was discovered Monday morning on the space of Massachusetts Avenue and Chesterton Avenue in Roxbury and arrested with out incident.
